2 Magazine Ads

Conceptual advertisements are created to capture the attention of the audience by relating the product to something unexpected. I designed two ads: one for Grammarly and the other for Kleenex. Grammarly is used to help people write papers, so I used a burnt lightbulb as the main graphic to convey a lack of ideas, hence the tagline “Feeling burnt out?” Kleenex is a leading tissue brand, so I used an elephant to show how Kleenex products are suited for any kind of nose.

The goal of this product was to create two successful conceptual ads. Simplified, flat-color backgrounds are used to emphasize and enhance the main graphics, utilizing negative space to direct the viewer’s attention to the main focus: the concept.
