The goal of this project was to create a book cover that represented jazz music. The graphic of this book cover is based on the work of Wassily Kandinsky. This is because Kandinsky claimed to have synesthesia, a condition which allowed him to hear colors. I thought that this idea would express the spontaneous nature and energy of jazz music in an appropriate manner.
